Steady state and unsteady state relative permeameter (RPS700)

The RPS 700 system provides a versatile facility to carry out unsteady state and steady state relative permeability studies for liquid/liquid and liquid/gas at reservoir conditions of temperature and pressure. The liquid phases are injected and recirculated though the sample at different constant flow rates while the gas phase is injected at constant pressure. An optional Nitrogen gas line permits to inject nitrogen though the sample at constant gas flow rate. The computer controlled system is provided with a unique software that allows for operation both manual and automatic modes where all key components can be controlled including pump, valves, video capturing and data acquisition. A test sequencer also permits to program and run test sequences automatically. The coreholder, air operated valves, produced fluid separator and necessary plumbing are mounted in an airbath that has been designed to provide easy access of all components. The unique high temperature recirculating triple pump system presents an unprecedented solution to generate continuous, pulse free fluid flow rate of one or more fluids through a sample while maintaining a constant pressure at the outlet of the sample. The automatic confining pump generates and maintains automatically a net overburden pressure thus avoiding to control pressure changes during heating and cooling steps. The video separator also provides an extreme accuracy of the volume of brine, oil and gas produced during the flow tests at reservoir conditions.

FEATURES:

Maximum confining pressure : 700 bar (10,000 psi)
Maximum pore pressure : 700 bar (10,000 psi)
Maximum working temperature : 150°C
Core diameter : 1"1/2 other upon request
Core length : 1" to 3" other upon request
Flow rate: 0.005 to 50 cc/min
Material: Stainless steel
Power supply: 220VAC, 50Hz
Air Pressure requirements: 7 bar (100 psi)

BENEFITS:
The fluid phases are injected and recirculated in the core sample at reservoir condition.
The recirculating mode uses less fluid and enable faster equilibrium with the flowing phases.
Fluid production from the core sample is measured at reservoir conditions by a self calibrated separator
Compact system
