AVS A-Atmospheric acoustic velocity system

Description

The atmospheric acoustic velocity system determines at ambient conditions, acoustic velocity and dynamic elastic properties of dry or saturated core samples, including dynamic Young’s modulus, shear modulus and Poisson’s ratio. The turnkey system includes a fast-acting pulser that provides excitation to the ultrasonic sensor, a switch box and an ultra-high speed analog-to-digital converter to store the resulting waveforms signals.
