MAT-MicroActivity Testing Unit (Fixed bed)

Description

The MAT – FCC Microactivity Test is a fully automated laboratory-scale reaction system based on a fixed-bed reactor, developed to evaluate the equilibrium activity of Fluid Catalytic Cracking (FCC) catalysts. Designed for high-throughput catalyst testing, the unit can automatically perform up to eight consecutive runs with excellent repeatability and reliability. It can be equipped with fast and efficient analytical systems, such as micro-GC, to provide accurate measurements of cracking yields and detailed gasoline properties, including RON, MON, and RVP. The MAT is available in several configurations to meet different testing needs. A single-run version is strictly compliant with ASTM standards, ensuring reference-quality measurements. Multi-run configurations with four or eight runs enable accelerated catalyst screening and productivity gains. In addition, a coprocessing configuration allows biomass feeding, supporting the evaluation of renewable feedstocks in FCC processes.
