Developping TMDCs materials using our UHV systems for a large range of applications in photonic and electronic devices such as quantum computing.

TMDCs allow for the development of higher value applications related to environmental matters, such as pollution reduction in fields such as; gas sensing technology, gas adsorption & removal, carbon dioxide conversion and waste water treatment.

These materials are being developed for a large range of applications in photonic and electronic devices such as quantum computing.

Vinci manufactures Ultra High Vacuum systems such as MBE, Metal evaporators, UHV Sputtering, PLD and Transfer Tunnels to provide the ideal environment for the growth of these materials.  Ultra- clean materials are essential for developing these devices. The substrate is a critical tuning parameter. At a pressure of 1E-6 mbar the crystal surface will be contaminated with a monolayer of gas in 1 second. Combining growth and analysis systems via a controlled UHV transport system, means that the optimum growth conditions are maintained from the moment the substrate enters the chamber until the full structures have been grown.

Examples of such installations for the growth of these TMDCs  can be seen at IJL in Nancy France, the NYU Centre for Quantum Phenomena, Weizmann Institute in Tel Aviv.
