MS1500 - Two-stage separator apparatus
Description
The MS1500 two-stage separator flashes pressurized liquids in a controlled two-stage system to determine the oil formation volume factor (Bo), solution gas–oil ratio (Rs/GOR), and stock-tank/flashed liquid volume at equilibrium conditions. The liberated gas is measured with the gasometer at ambient conditions while the liquid is read in a see-through visual cell. The system is designed to perform routine, two-stage GOR measurements across a wide range of pressures and temperatures, including: a high-pressure separation stage from 1,500 psi down to final atmospheric stage at room conditions.
