AVS 700-HPHT acoustic velocity system

Description

The AVS 700 system performs compressional and shear wave velocities measurements on rock specimens at in situ overburden pressure, pore pressure and temperatures. The main system encompasses a pressure vessel which accommodates various ultrasonic loading platens, a pore fluid vessel and an air-operated pump for confining and pore pressure control.
